The Pinecone Resort is a micro-resort currently being built in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains with an estimated completion of 2027. It is located 5 minutes from Bass Lake, 10 minutes from Oakhurst, and 30 minutes from Yosemite’s South Gate. The Pinecone is being created to share our love for beautiful design, the Sierra Nevada mountains, and our coexistence with nature. We aim to blend all three of these elements to create a one-of-a-kind experience that guests remember forever.

The resort backs up to the Sierra National Forest and is set on 4 private acres with two seasonal creeks, picturesque mountain valley views, and walking trails. There will also be a reforestation grove on site where guests can experience a hands-on tree planting program to help steward the land, receive a complimentary token, and come back to watch their designated tree grow.

The accommodations will consist of two elevated Pinecones, the first being the Creekside Pinecone. It is a freestanding, stilted geometric structure shaped like a pinecone and includes 360 degree panoramic views, a living area, bathroom, kitchenette, and sleeping loft. The Pinecones include specifically curated wellness amenities that can be shopped through our Amazon storefront. The exterior is inspired by our contribution to the land through pine trees, and the interior is inspired by the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains.
